1. LA-VERNA ASHRAM
(THE DIOCESE OF SIMLA-CHANDIGARB)
On 7th September 1990, at Ranzoor Palace, in the presence of late Bishop of the Diocese Gilbert Rego, Father Lennie Connully, the then Minister Provincial, some of our Friars and C.T.C. Sisters and some prominent people of the locality, our entry to Nahan was inaugurated.We did not stay here we moved to Yameen's buiding, near the Pucca Tank Nahan, which we had taken on rent. The friars stayed in three rented buildings for two years. The fraternity consisted of Brs. Gerin (Superior) and Edmond as a member. Br. Gerin was authorized to identify and purchase a small plot for the Ashram. He with the financial help of a Funding agency approached by the Provincialate bought a plot of land of about 12 cents at Ranika-Bagh, where the present Church and Ashram were built under the guidance of Br. Gerin.They were blessed on 17th September 1994, Father Gerin served also as the Parish Priest.
2. ST. FRANCIS OF ASSISI RC CHURCH (THE DIOCESE OF SHIMLA-CHANDIGRAH)
We have a historical heritage of St.Francis Assisi Church ,a Parish at Subathu in Himachal Pradesh,founded by italian Capuchin Missionaries.The Church belongs to the Diocese. Prem Jyoti Custody was asked to look after the church in the year 2006, It is an ancient Church, more than 100 years old.
3. ST. FRANCIS
ASHRAM (THE DIOCESE OF SHIMLA-CHANDIGARH)
The
laying of the foundation stone for the Ashram took place on 15th July 2018 at Dadahu near Renuka in Himachal Pradesh. The
blessing of the friary took place on 7 September, 2019, by Most Rev. Bishop
Ignatius Loyola Mascarenhas of Shimla-Chandigarh Diocese. The Place is been
used for renewing the spirit of People especially those who come over here for
retreat along with it the friars are involved in pastoral ministry.
